With 'It Was All Heart,' multi-instrumentalist and composer Ward Dhoore invites you on a
musical journey that will have you daydreaming, discovering, and serenading.
After 15 years of touring Europe, America, and Canada with various (inter)national projects,
Ward now takes to the stage under his own name, with a performance full of his own music and
personal stories. His artistic growth has not gone unnoticed: radio Klara selected him
for its series "De Twintigers," which introduces promising composers to its listeners.
With his solo debut, he presents a captivating mix of minimalist, neoclassical, and
cinematic music. Ward's atmospheric impressions are deeply rooted in personal
experiences and stories. During his concerts, he shares anecdotes that provide context to his
music—from family and tour memories to initiatives and concepts that touch him. These
stories add an extra dimension to his music and make every concert a unique,
intimate experience.
